Everything sticks like a broken record.

Here’s TMBG’s, uh, interesting take on “Yellow Submarine” from a show in 1992.

“Even My T-Shirt,” a short, weird song from They Might Be Giants vs. McSweeney’s (and later TMBG Unlimited).

Fantastic live version of “Rhythm Section Want Ad” from 1985.

“Sally Boy Candy Bar,” aka “MY NAME IS JOHN FLANSBURGH AND I WILL ROCK YOUR FACE OFF.”

“Chaos by Design” from the TMBG Unlimited Battle of the Bands project. Lisa and Liza are the ladies behind the mic and the computer screen, and collectively they represent one of the coolest bands to emerge from the “lo-fi” scene of the mid-90’s. Always critics’ darlings, even when they are roadies for Human League, the lusher approach is reflected in this track.

A live version of “The Big Big Whoredom” from TMBG Unlimited.
